Tasting Notes

Experience a broad flavor spectrum in this sampler—from the bright pear and jasmine of Tanzania to the smooth cocoa richness of Brazil Santos. You’ll find fruity Ethiopian caramel, spicy Honduran sweetness, vibrant Colombian berry tones, and sweet Costa Rican honeyed apple. Each coffee offers a distinct profile that reflects its origin’s soil, altitude, and farming traditions.

Brazil Santos

Roast: Medium
An elegant, smooth cup with pronounced cocoa notes. Sourced from Fazenda Santa Barbara in the Parana and Sao Paulo regions, this coffee is pulped natural and sun-dried in volcanic loam soil, growing at 750–1050 meters. The combination of Mundo Novo and Catuai varieties creates a balanced and refined sweetness.

Colombia

Roast: Medium
Bright and lively with dried orange, berry, and chocolate undertones. Grown by smallholder farmers near Medellin in Antioquia at 1300–1500 meters elevation, these Castillo, Caturra, Colombia, and Typica varietals thrive in volcanic loam soil. Fully washed and dried in solar dryers to preserve quality and clarity.

Costa Rica

Roast: Medium
Sweet apple and raisin notes, layered with a smooth honey finish. Micro farms in Alajuela produce this eco-pulped, sun-dried coffee at 1300–1445 meters elevation. The Caturra and Catuai varieties flourish in volcanic loam, yielding a cup with gentle sweetness and vibrant clarity.

Ethiopia

Roast: Medium-light
A bright, fruity cup with milk chocolate and caramel highlights. This natural processed coffee comes from indigenous heirloom cultivars in the Sidama Zone, grown at 1700–1900 meters on nitisols soil. Hand sorted and dried on raised beds to emphasize delicate complexity and floral aromatics.

Honduras

Roast: Medium-dark
Rich caramel and spice balanced by brown sugar sweetness. Produced by 1500 cooperative members from Marcala, La Paz at 1300–1700 meters altitude. Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra, Lempira, and Typica varieties combine to create a bold yet nuanced cup grown in clay mineral soils and fully washed.

Tanzania

Roast: Medium-light
Floral and juicy with notes of pear, jasmine, and strawberry. Small cooperative farmers in Mbeya cultivate Bourbon and Kent varieties at 1200–1900 meters. Fully washed and dried on raised beds in clay mineral soil, this coffee offers bright acidity with a delicate, fragrant finish.
